In November of 2023, professors Leung and Liao joiedn our ranks at QSEc from previous positions at JILA, University of Colorado Boulder. Together they are working on developing various structured and quantum states of light to study biosystems using advanced imaging and sensing techniques. Prof. Liao is also extending this work into the generation of entangled beams of photons ranging in energies from the visible spectrum into the extreme UV (EUV) and soft x-ray regimes.
